Bed linen and towels
There are duvets and pillows in your holiday home, but remember to bring bed linen and towels.
When you book a stay, you can hire linen packages for DKK 119 and avoid having to do laundry. A linen package includes a small hand towel, bath towel, duvet cover, pillowcase and sheet. Don’t forget that you can also hire bedding for the cot.

Tea towels and cleaning
A tea towel and dishcloth is provided in your holiday home, and final cleaning is included in the price of your stay. However, you’re responsible for day-to-day cleaning. It’s a good idea to bring toilet paper, waste bags for your rubbish and hand soap, as well as cleaning products, etc. for daily cleaning, including: dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid, washing-up sponges, kitchen roll, tea towels, and floor and dishcloths. Naturally, you can also buy them from the Lalandia Bakery and Minimarket.

Coffee and tea
There is a coffee maker and electric kettle in your holiday home. You can either bring coffee filters and tea bags with you or buy them from the Lalandia Bakery and Minimarket.

Children from 3 years and under
Please note that children under 3 years of age must wear a nappy swimming costume in the Aquadome – even if your child no longer uses a nappy. Nappy swimming costumes are made from neoprene and have broad sealed edges at the legs and stomach. We recommend that children wear a swim nappy under their nappy swimming costume. Children over 3 years of age still using a nappy must also wear a nappy swimming costume. Please bring your own or buy one from the Aquadome Shop.

Dogs
Dogs are welcome in most of our holiday homes, but there are also holiday homes where dogs are not permitted. Therefore remember to inform us if you want to bring your dog on your holiday. This must be done no later than 15 days before arrival.

Eat in your holiday home
You can enjoy a well-prepared meal in your holiday home, all of which have well-equipped kitchens.

Outdoor areas
Please bring sturdy footwear, as all the holiday homes are newly built and the area around the holiday homes may still be under construction in some places.

Barbecue
There is no barbecue at your holiday home, but please feel free to bring your own if you want to barbecue during your holiday.
Exercise caution and never leave a barbecue unattended. Also be aware that a fire ban may be in force during the period when you visit Lalandia.

Order bed linen in advance and it will be ready for you when you arrive at Lalandia.
A linen package includes a sheet, duvet cover and pillowcase, plus two towels.

You can bring your dog with you on holiday on payment of a cleaning supplement of DKK 275 per dog. We reserve the right to make price changes.

Only two dogs per holiday home are permitted. Please let us know if you intend to bring your dog with you when booking your stay or at least 15 days prior to arrival. If you bring a pet without having prepaid the cleaning supplement, you will be charged a fee of DKK 1500.

In the holiday home area, dogs must be kept on a lead. Dogs are not permitted in the Lalandia Centre. However, service dogs are welcome everywhere in Lalandia, except in the Aquadome.

Disabled access and companion scheme
The Aquadome has large family and disabled changing rooms with changing cubicles. They are reserved for disabled guests and parents with children over 6 years of age of the opposite sex. Other guests are requested to use our women’s or men’s changing room. There is hoist equipment in the changing room, and it is possible to borrow a wheelchair, which can be used in the water.

Within the tropical holiday centre, there is easy access to all levels and a lift to the shops and restaurants on the 1st floor. All areas have plenty of space to move around – including for wheelchair users. There are disabled toilets throughout the centre, and in most of the restaurants. When booking a table, it is worth mentioning that you may have special requirements.

The companion scheme at Lalandia works by disabled visitors paying an entry fee for the Aquadome/activities in the same way as other guests. A maximum of one companion can then accompany the visitor during their stay for free by presenting a companion card. The companion must be at least 18 years of age.

Service dogs are welcome everywhere in Lalandia, except in the Aquadome.

Sunflower lanyard for guests with a hidden disability/diagnosis
At Lalandia we have joined the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Scheme. The Sunflower lanyard is a voluntary, international symbol for people with a hidden disability or other hidden diagnosis who may need extra support. Hidden disabilities/diagnoses may include such things as hearing or visual impairments, anxiety, Alzheimer’s, ADHD, PTSD or chronic pain. You can display the sunflower as a green lanyard or a green wristband with sunflowers on.

As a guest with a hidden disability or a diagnosis, it is entirely your choice whether or not to wear the Sunflower lanyard. But if you do choose to wear it, it tells our staff (and other guests) that you may need more time, patience or consideration during your stay. All our employees are trained in understanding and helping guests with hidden disabilities/diagnoses, so they know how best to ensure a good, inclusive experience.

You can always contact your patient association and get more information about getting a Sunflower lanyard. And if you have forgotten to bring yours on holiday with you, we can also provide you with one at the Service Centre. It is not possible to wear the lanyard in the Aquadome, so in the Aquadome Shop at the entrance, the nice employees will instead hand out a wristband with sunflowers on if you want to show during your visit to the Aquadome that you have a hidden disability or diagnosis.

Three days before your arrival, you will receive an e-mail containing the address of your holiday home and its access code. Therefore, when you arrive, you can drive directly to your holiday home, where you can open the door using the code contained in the e-mail. No key is required.
Your holiday home will be ready from 15.00 on the day of your arrival.
Once your stay is over, you must vacate your holiday home by 10.00 at the latest on the day of departure.

If you paid by bank transfer or your credit card has expired, you will need to register your arrival at our Service Centre, where you can also pay in advance for your energy consumption in your holiday home.

If you booked your stay through a travel agency, you will not receive a code for your holiday home before your stay. You will need to check in at our Service Centre when you arrive at Lalandia.

We have a strong focus on energy consumption at Lalandia, much like the rest of the world. To ensure that we only use the energy required in our holiday homes, we have lowered the temperature to around 19 °C in the communal areas. You will still arrive to a warm holiday home, but the temperature will be a few degrees lower than you have been used to if you have visited us before. You can easily turn up the heating if you wish.

In your holiday home, you will find a welcome envelope containing practical information regarding the current activities at Lalandia. It also includes your wrist bands, which give you access to the Aquadome and Monky Tonky Land.

We will try to place groups travelling together as close to each other as possible.

When arriving before 15.00 you can get access to the Aquadome and Monky Tonky Land if the Lalandia Centre is open. See our opening hours here.

If you want to visit Monky Tonky Land before 15.00 on the day you arrive, please contact either Sport & Fun or the Service Center. If you want to visit the Aquadome before 15.00 on the day you arrive, please contact the Aquadome Shop at the entrance to the waterpark.

If, when you arrive, the Lalandia Centre is closed and you need help, call (+45) 8830 6510. This number will put you in touch with an employee who can assist you with access to your holiday home and other tasks that the Service Centre normally deals with.

All our holiday homes have a car parking space alongside. These can be used after 15.00 on the day of your arrival and until 10.00 on the day of your departure.

You can park by the main entrance to the tropical holiday centre free for one hour. If you want to park for a longer period at the main entrance, you can see the prices here.

It is not permitted to charge your electric car at your holiday home.

Instead, use the Clever or Tesla charging stations by the main entrance to Lalandia.

Clever
Charge your electric car at one of the eight charging stations using a Clever charging fob or the Clever app. Remember that you will need a type 2 charging cable for your car.

Tesla
The 12 Supercharger charging stations have a CCS cable that can be connected to the charging port of any electric car. Electric cars other than Tesla use the Tesla mobile app to start and finish charging, and pay for the charging.

Please note that you will have to pay for parking while you charge your car.

If the charging stations are occupied, there are also stations at Beach Bowl in Søndervig and at Netto in Ringkøbing. We recommend that you explore the options prior to arrival.

There is wireless internet in all the holiday homes.

There are no bicycles in the holiday homes, so bring your own if you wish to go cycling in the area. The Service Centre can assist you with details of a local bicycle hire company.
You are not permitted to bring prams/pushchairs into the restaurants or Aquadome. However, carrycots may be brought in.

As tenants, you are obliged to respect the applicable rules and are fully liable for the equipment provided in the holiday home. The person who signed the lease is also liable for damage caused by other residents in the holiday home during the lease period. The maximum number of residents in holiday homes must not exceed the number booked.

The lessee is obliged to comply with the regulations applicable to Lalandia. The lessee is fully responsible for the holiday home's equipment. Problems and damage caused by the lessee are settled in the Service Center. The person who has signed the lease is thereby also responsible for damage caused by other residents in the holiday home during the lease period. The holiday home may not be occupied by more than the number of people specified in the price list.

You are not permitted to eat your own food inside the tropical holiday centre or the Aquadome.

For your information, the tropical holiday centre is subject to video surveillance.

Hygiene:

• Please note that children from 3 years of age or under must wear a nappy swimming costume in the Aquadome – even if your child no longer uses a nappy. • Remember to wash thoroughly before using the Aquadome.

• Visitors with infectious diseases and/or weeping wounds will not be granted access.

• Chickenpox:
  Children with oozing chickenpox are not allowed to use the Aquadome. However, fever-free children with chickenpox, where the blisters have dried up and formed a scab, are allowed to swim in the Aquadome.

• No outdoor footwear in the barefoot area.

• Changing clothes is only allowed in the designated changing cubicles.

• Only bathing guests wearing swimwear made from synthetic materials will be allowed in the pools. Thongs and underpants are not permitted.

• Remember to wash again after using the toilet or sauna.

• Food, ice cream and drinks may only be consumed at the designated tables and chairs.

• Plaster casts: Guests with plaster casts will only be permitted access to the Aquadome if they are wearing a Seal-Tight bag or similar (Seal-Tight bags can be purchased from the Aquadome Shop). Fibreglass casts are permitted in the pools.

Safety:

• Snorkels and similar toys may not be used in the Aquadome.

• Children under 12 years of age must be supervised by an adult companion over 18 years.

• Diving is prohibited

• Noisy, disruptive behaviour and aggressive play are not permitted in and around the pools.

• Only beach balls are permitted for ball games.

General:

• Use of the Aquadome is at your own risk.

• Instructions issued by the waterpark personnel must be followed.

• Food, drinks, chewing gum and ‘snus’ (mouth tobacco) may not be brought into the Aquadome.

• Drunk persons are not permitted in the Aquadome.

• Animals are not permitted in the Aquadome.

• Lalandia is not responsible for any theft or lost items.

• You are only permitted to photograph and film members of your own party.

• Tightly secured GoPro cameras are welcome, although only on the water slides.

Changing facilities:

• The Aquadome changing facilities are both child-friendly and functional. The armbands which you will receive on arrival are used both at the entrance to the Aquadome and to lock your locker. The changing rooms also contain changing facilities for the very youngest members of the family.

Bathing safety and lifeguards:

• Lalandia fulfils all safety rules – and further builds on – the guidelines issued by the Danish Council for Greater Water Safety in cooperation with the Danish Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Health and Politimesterforeningen (the Association of Danish Police Constables). At Lalandia, there are always at least 3 professional lifeguards on duty to keep an eye on our happy bathing guests. All lifeguards receive continuous professional training. Each year, they must pass the professional lifeguard exam. They also receive training every week in resuscitation, first aid, etc.

Infringement:

• Guests who fail to respect these rules may be asked to leave the Aquadome.

It is important for us that all our guests, young and old, feel safe in the Lalandia Centre. Therefore we ask all our guests to abide by the following guidelines:

• Children and adults are welcome in the Centre. However, dogs must be left outside.

• Pushchairs, prams and wheelchairs may be brought into the Centre. Bicycles, scooters, roller skates, skateboards and other wheeled items must remain in the outdoor areas. Use of the cloakroom and pram park is at your own risk.

• Please use your headphones to listen to your music.

• You can enjoy food and drinks that you have brought with you in the outdoor areas at Lalandia, but not inside the Centre.

• The Lalandia Centre, incl. the Aquadome, is a no-smoking area (this also applies to e-cigarettes). However, smoking is allowed outside in the designated smoking areas. Please show consideration for the children. Please dispose of used nicotine pouches in the trash can.

• Adults must not enter shops or restaurants topless.

• We ask our guests to respect the fact that some activities have an age limit or minimum height.

• We ask our guests to respect any requests from one of our employees or the security staff.

• Guests displaying loud, provocative, or in any other way threatening behaviour towards employees or other guests will be removed from Lalandia.

Defibrillator:
The defibrillator is located on the north side of the main entrance in a round container on the wall.

Defects and damage to the holiday home:
The lessee is obliged to respect the rules of behaviour in force for Lalandia. The lessee is fully responsible for the holiday home’s equipment. Problems and damage caused by the lessee must be paid for by the lessee in the Service Centre. The person who signed the lease is also responsible for damage caused by other residents in the holiday home during the lease period. The maximum number of residents in holiday homes must not exceed the number booked.

Guests staying in a holiday home at Lalandia can deposit money on the wristband and use it as a means of payment at Lalandia. It’s quick and easy to deposit money – simply scan the wristband and pay with a payment card or cash at any of the checkouts at Lalandia.

You can only make purchases up to the sum credited to the wristband. If it stops working, you can get a new one from the Service Centre, where your money will be transferred to the new wristband. You can check your balance by contacting our staff by the QuickPay readers at Lalandia. If your wristband has a balance on departure, it is important to get the amount paid out at Sport & Fun or the Service Centre before you go home.

You are responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of your holiday home. Cleaning supplies are provided. Final cleaning of the holiday home is included in the cost of your stay. You are responsible for washing up, emptying the dishwasher and tidying up prior to departure. Remember to take all waste to the recycling stations.

You pay for your own energy consumption in your holiday home. We will automatically deduct the amount from the payment card you used to pay for your stay – and you will receive an e-mail with a receipt and statement of your consumption.

Note: If you booked your stay through a travel agency, the payment of your consumption of energy will take place in the Service Centre.

Once your stay is over, you must vacate your holiday home by 10.00 at the latest on the day of departure. However, the armband for the Aquadome and Monky Tonky Land can be used throughout the day you depart. We offer late departure, which allows you to stay longer in your holiday home. Read more here

Late departure must be booked when you book your stay, or at the Service Centre by no later than 12.00 on the day before your departure. Exclusive offer for guests who book stays directly through Lalandia.

Late departure allows you to leave your holiday home at 13.00 instead of 10.00. This gives you time to enjoy breakfast together in your holiday home, and pack without feeling rushed.
